Doors are open and drinks are served at Hewing Hotel and Tullibee restaurant. Fellow was enlisted to brand the Nordic-inspired hotel and create a brand narrative that is authentic to Minnesota’s heritage as well as appealing to travelers seeking a high-end, local experience. Print is very much alive. Aparium, a hotel development company that creates unique experiences in distinctive places, asked us to design a culture book for new team members that is every bit as differentiating and premium as the properties they create. We think it’s a real page turner.
Fellow recently acquired Abby Kiefer as our Project Coordination Intern. So far she has organized the obvious and streamlined the stranger operational offerings here at the shop. Abby is a recent graduate from the University of Minnesota and a former resident of Fergus Falls. We are fortunate to have such a bright and passionate person to fill a challenging role. Fellow crashed the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix with YouTube star Joe Penna (MysteryGuitarMan) and ripped through a musical tour around the world. We created a video that features Joe playing 90 instruments from 90 countries in under 2 minutes and then launched a social campaign to get the word out. Joe plays only a handful of the 6,000 instruments on display. Check out MIM when you are in Phoenix and see the full vid here.

Fellow is excited to be included in Alphabet Logo, the fourth design book from the UK’s Counter-Print’s Trademarks & Symbols series. The book showcases over 500 alphabet-inspired logos from some of the world’s leading design companies such as; Bond Creative, Bruce Mau Design, Hype Type Studio, Pentagram, Stockholm Design Lab and Wolff Olins.
Fellow was thrilled to collaborate with Minnesota Hospital Association and Kim Witczak to launch an authentic campaign that urges people to include the patient voice in all health care conversations. With this campaign MHA wants to change health care as we know it for the better. Fellow named, branded and helped roll-out the campaign to a series of pilot hospitals. See the work here.
K-TWIN is now Go 96.3. Fellow rebranded the radio station with a new name, look, format and attitude. An outdoor and online campaign is getting the word out by highlighting band names and song titles that contain the word go. There will be a lot more going on soon. Minneapolis & St. Paul are currently crammed with leagues of baseball fans attending the All-Star game at Target Field. Fellow was called up to design some banners for the Target Center that welcome the fans to the Twin Cities. At 60 feet tall, they are the largest banners ever hung on Target Center.
Fellow is excited to announce that we won gold in the 2015 Graphis Design Competition! We were recognized for First & First branding and interactive. We love that the folks at First & First were game for pushing the boundaries on what a commercial real estate firm can look like.

Wedge Community Co-op has been serving Minnesota the freshest organic and local food since 1974, but the store has grown into so much more. Fellow created the new brand to better reflect the vibrant Wedge community and strategically position the Wedge for future growth. More work here.
Draft is an ongoing, ever-evolving project from Bespoke Hair Artisans. It is a collective sketchbook that highlights their creative projects and offers a forum to express their talents. We collaborated with Bespoke on the first collection for Draft and launched it recently on bespokehairartisans.com.
It’s going to be hard to not notice this high flying sport as it debuts on an international stage this February. It also helps that Fellow created a full-blown awareness campaign that tells the history of freeskiing and Target’s involvement from the beginning. We created branded content, interactive and TV ads that will be airing on “Shaun White: Russia Calling,” this Saturday on NBC. Check out the full video out here.
Finally streaming movies and TV shows is a snap. With Target Ticket, family movie nights can get rolling after a few simple clicks. You can buy, rent, download or stream the entertainment you love anywhere you go. Fellow spent the last year branding the service and creating multi-channel marketing initiatives promoting it. This is Norah Stone. She’s the intern known internationally. Fresh off a foreign study stint in Holland, she landed at Fellow headquarters in MPLS. We partnered with Hen’s Teeth Branding and Blacklist to bring a Tait Subler strategy to life in a brand spot that leverages the Chumash’s rich tradition of unmatched hospitality.
